At General Goodsy, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy is designed to meet and exceed our legal obligations to you under EU and UK consumer law.
1. Your Legal Right to Cancel (Right of Withdrawal)

EU & UK Customers: You have a legal right to cancel your order and return the goods for any reason within 14 days of receiving them. This is your statutory "cooling-off period."
2. Our Return Process
To provide a seamless experience, we extend the returns window to 30 days from the date you receive your order for your convenience. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them, in their original packaging.
3. Damaged or Lost Shipments
🚨 Damaged Packages:
If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours at customersupport@generalgoodsy.store with your order number and photos of the damaged package and product. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and will offer a replacement or refund, as required by law.
🚨 Lost Packages:
If your tracking number shows "delivered" but you have not received your package:

4. Order Cancellations
To cancel an order, email us at customersupport@generalgoodsy.store. You may cancel free of charge at any time before your order is marked "Processing" or "Shipped." If your order has already been processed, you may refuse delivery or return it to us once received under the terms of this policy.
5. Refunds, Return Shipping & Restocking Fees

Return Shipping Costs:

Free Returns: We will cover the return shipping cost for items that are damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.

Changed Mind / Buyer's Remorse: For returns under your legal right of withdrawal where the product is not faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. As permitted by law, this cost may be deducted from your refund.
🚫 Restocking Fees:
No restocking fees apply to any returns.
6. 2-Year Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, most products are covered by a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
